Welcome to the Selly Oak RFC website. Selly Oak (aka the Spanglies)
is an amateur rugby club in the heart of Birmingham, and draws players from Selly Oak and the surrounding areas (such as
Moseley, Kings Heath, Harborne, Edgbaston and beyond) as well as the nearby University of Birmingham.
We believe as a club that rugby football is ultimately about
enjoying yourself with your mates (new and old). We are therefore competitive on the pitch, but as you will notice
from our website, we don't take ourselves too seriously when we are off it. If you fancy a game, or simply want to watch
(or maybe just have a good excuse for a drink) then we will always be pleased to see you.
